The one thing that I've noticed since deciding to start a business is that , once you have an idea they just keep on flowing. For the past two weeks I've found myself thinking of a hundred and one different ways that I could use my business and how many different services could I provide. One day I even caught myself thinking of what area I could start a new business in after I start this one. Thankfully I've managed to put all of that to the side to focus on the idea I started with. I can't help wonder if thats why a lot of startups don't succeed, is it because they're to busy focusing on how they're going to get their on millionth customer instead of focusing on how they're going to get their first customer?
I understand that having goals an aspirations is important, but how much is to much? How far do you leave your imagination go before its time to reel it back in again?

'Great minds think alike'
An extract from th article
'Part-Time Opportunities Exist for Teens Across the Country'
By Simon Matthews
'Regardless of what the job market is like, finding a job out there is tough when you're a teenager. You've got little or no work history, barely any schooling, no college credits, and no clue where to start. Where can you find job applications online? Should you apply online or fill out an employment form in person? What are the interviews like? What employers even hire part-time workers? It's enough to make your head spin'
If this isn't a perfect reason to start an online business helping teens find part-time work,
What is?

Just starting
The other day I saw the movie 'The Social Network' . As soon as it ended I decided that I would was going turn the dream that I have of starting my own business into a reality. What better time to be an entrepreneur than in a time of economic hardship, when new fresh ideas are exactly whats needed. To top it off I'm only sixteen. Even though some might dismiss the idea of a sixteen year old being able to run a business, I think that it could be the perfect time to try and make this happen. At this age we're not tied down to work , we have an abundance of time and our generation probably have the best chance with nearly every child having access to a computer and internet. While thinking about what I could service I could provide to people
I remembered last years summer holidays when after the first few weeks everybody was complaining that they had nothing to do for the rest of the summer or that they wished they had jobs. But when asked if they did anything about getting a job they all said the same thing, they didnt know where to start!. Then it hit me, in the summer months and during holidays businesses are always looking for some extra staff just for the duration of the summer or holiday rushes. So why not put a service on offer to businesses letting them hire teenagers on a weekly, monthly or even year long basis, giving teenagers something to do , experience and some extra money. Teenagers can often be the most motivated and hardworking people so why not give them the chance to practice those qualities and develop new skills .
Just thought I'd start a blog to find out what people think about it and if all goes well let them follow my journey to starting my own business.
